1. Accounts and Audit
a. Books of accounts, Trial Balance and Financial statements have to be prepared for the year ended 31st March 2023.
b. To be appointed statutory auditor for the company.
c. Statutory audit of the company has to be completed on or before last week of September 2023.
2. Income Tax
a. Statement of Estimated Income Tax Payable for the year of assessment 2023/24 has to be submitted to the Department of Inland Revenue on or before 15th August 2023.
b. Self-assessment Income Tax payments for the year of assessment 2023/24 (if any) have to be remitted to the Department of Inland Revenue as follows.
i. 1st Quarter – on or before 15th August 2023
ii. 2nd Quarter – on or before 15th November 2023
iii. 3rd Quarter – on or before 15th February 2024
iv. 4th Quarter – on or before 15th May 2024
v. Final – on or before 30th September 2024
c. To be obtained online access of IRD portal in order to submit the Income Tax Return.
d. Income Tax Return for the year of assessment 2022/23 has to be prepared and submitted to the Department of Inland Revenue on or before 30th November 2023
3. Company Secretarial
a. Board resolution has to be passed for an appointing a statutory auditor.
b. Annual General Meeting has to be held on or before 30th September 2023
c. Annual return has to be filed with the Department of the Registrar of Companies
