We are Monaragala Estate – Kalavana, a start-up estate is looking for young and energetic individual to fill the following vacancy immediately.
- Filed officer – Tea/Cinnamon
Position is open for: Diploma holders/graduates of Agriculture and related degrees. Other candidates with 7+ years’ experience with no formal qualification maybe considered. Should be able to relocate to Kalavana. Having a motor bike or motor bike licence would be also a plus. Position involve: 1. Understand the work that needs to be done on a priority basis and to delegate field supervisors and labourers 2. To ensure that all the filing are up to date, to transfer the important records and files, and ensure that they are protected and secured. 3. To supervise the staff members, to establish policies and standards, to coach and make sure that discipline is being followed by the staff members 4. To orient, train, and mentor the estate labours and supervisors by evaluating their performance 5. To anticipate the supplies or material needed and to review and approve the requisitions of the staff members according to the requirement 6. To schedule actions, rosters and to recommend solutions for improving the growth of tea/cinnamon production and new plantation 7. Cover the Kalavana & Enadana divisions. Remotely support to Madurankuliya Division. Salary: starting from 20K to 30K based on the experience + accommodation + food allowance.
